Synopsis

Morisato Keiichi is a college freshman with the worst of luck. His luck turns around one day when he mistakenly calls the Goddess Assistance Agency. Belldandy, a real live goddess, comes to grant whatever he wishes for. Lonely, and without a girlfriend, he whimsically says "I want a Goddess like you to stay with me forever," which causes her to grant his wish. Soon after, he's kicked out of his dormitory for bringing a female into it, but they soon find a temple, owned by an old monk. Upon seeing Belldandy in her angelic song, the monk gives the temple to her, and goes on a pilgrimage.

This is the story of Keiichi and Belldandy through their life together, the problems they encounter, the tribulations they must pass, and the strength of their love, as it grows.

Belldandy - A goddess from heaven who becomes tied to Keiichi through his wish. She later falls in love with him.

Urd - Belldandy's older half-sister, who is herself half-demon, half-goddess. She tries to help Belldandy's and Keiichi's relationship many times, and eventually succeeds.

Skuld - Belldandy's younger sister, who desperately tries to ruin her relationship with Keiichi. She's also really good at mechanics.
